Orientation
On arrival
international students are provided with a comprehensive orientation
program. Students meet the Principal and staff. The
orientation program also includes an introduction to all
student services,
a tour of Hamilton city.

a range of International student services to help you with any problems
or questions you may have about living and studying in New
Zealand.
Our friendly and experienced staff are available to assist
you and to ensure that your New Zealand study experience
is a good one.
Students are able to make appointments with the Director
of Studies to discuss any aspect of their programme.
Student Counsellors are at the school regularly to
speak to students and help them in any way. First language
counsellors are available by request.

Computer Lab
Students can use
the open access computers for word processing, email,
internet
with
free of charge from 9 am to 9 pm everyday.
Listening
Laboratory
Our
listening laboratory has tapes, videos and other resources
for students to use as part of their coursework or for
self-study. There include materials for IELTS exam
preparation as well as resources for learning about life
in New Zealand and practising every English.
Library
A
rang of books, magazines and newspapers are available for
students to use in the Institute's library. New materials
will be added regularly, providing a useful resource for
students to improve their English and prepare for the
IELTS examation.
Student
Common Room
Our
students are provided with a pleasant common room area
where they can relax with their classmates, eat lunch or
do their homework. Kitchen facilities are also available.
Satellite TV
We are the only English school in
Hamilton to provide Satellite TV for students with
around 60 channels from around the world including Asian, Middle
East,
European, etc.
Morning
and Afternoon Tea
We provide morning and afternoon tea and coffee for
students. Students are welcome to help themselves to tea,
green tea and coffee at any break time
Accommodation
Living
in a homestay is a good opportunity for you to practise
your English and learn about the New Zealand way of life.
Our
homestay families are carefully selected for their
suitability to host international students.
Other options include
renting, hostels, flatting. Our accommodation agent can
assist you with these options as well.
