Through
the English with Rugby programme, students will study
English with our highly qualified and
experienced English teachers and then also spend
some time with skilled coaches to learn the
basics of Rugby to enhance their study
experience.
The programme caters
for all levels of English from beginner to
advanced levels and our expert consultants will
be able to design a flexible package to suit
your specific needs. In the mornings, students
will attend English classes to improve their
listening, reading, writing and speaking
abilities. In addition, practical English
classes provide students with a great
opportunity to practice what they are learning.
This leaves the afternoons and weekends free for
students to experience the game of Rugby with
training from experienced Rugby coaches.
New Zealand is well known as a strong Rugby
nation and the sport forms a big part of the
nation’s culture. WIE is located in Hamilton,
the hometown of the Waikato Chiefs Rugby team,
International Super 15 Rugby Champions of 2012.
The central location of our Campus means
students are just minutes away from several
prime Rugby training facilities, gyms and the
Waikato Rugby stadium with a crowd capacity of
25,800 people, where many international Rugby
matches are played.
